The Australian Law states that all pharmacies can only dispense prescription medicine on receipt of the original prescription written by an Australian registered medical practitioner

Prescription can be given in person (this is preferable) or it can be marked or a copy faxed to Harbourside Pharmacy before the prescrption is dispensed.

To ensure less chance of an adverse medication reaction or potential drug interaction, some medical history may need to be provided to assist as in providing the best health care we can for you.

The price you pay for your prescription depends on your entitlement as stated by our Australian Health System. There are different price categories;

1. Private
2. PBS (Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme), Concession and Safety Net.
